Cochlear implants can benefit adults too

Cochlear implants are not just for kids and there is an urgent need to address the lack of awareness around their use in adults with hearing loss, say international and Australian experts. They say there is a lack of consistent guidelines for their use in adults so they have developed 20 consensus statements on their use in adults with hearing loss.
